《地檢署勞務役志工》10月17日海灘廢棄物長期監測活動
1.下午1500時，請在台南市中華西路一段與健康路三段交叉路口之-金府城火雞肉飯商家前與與海廢志工會合後一同前往監測地點。
2.下午1530時，請自行前往監測地點（台南市龍崗國小西側海岸沙灘）與海廢志工會合。

《國際知識分享》Coastal cleanup activity takes place despite typhoon threat
The approach of Typhoon Fanapi dampened Taiwan's participation in the annual International Coastal Cleanup Saturday, but six of the country's counties and cities were still able to mobilize cleanup efforts along their coasts.
凡那比颱風接近，我國參與一年一度的國際淨灘日行動受到打擊，但仍有6個縣市仍然能夠沿著海岸舉辦清理工作。
Volunteers collected garbage on beaches in Taoyuan, Taichung, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan counties and Kaohsiung City as part of efforts to protect the ocean from human-incurred pollution, said one of the organizers, the Taipei-based Society of Wilderness (SOW).
主辦單位之一荒野保護協會表示，義工在桃園、台中、雲林、嘉義、台南縣和高雄市的沙灘上收集垃圾，這是保護海洋不受人為污染的努力的一部分。
Planned cleanup activities in eastern and northern Taiwan were postponed until next week or canceled because of the approaching storm, the SOW said.
荒野保護協會說，計劃在東部和北部進行的清理活動因颱風接近而被延到下週或取消。
Countries around the world are mobilizing cleanup efforts this weekend as part of the annual International Coastal Cleanup, the world's largest volunteer effort on behalf of ocean health that traditionally takes place on the third Saturday in September.
世界各國週末正在努力動員清理清理工作，以響應每年一度的國際淨灘日行動，這是全球為海洋健康進行的最大的志願行動，傳統上在9月第3個週六舉行。
Taiwan's participation was organized by a local marine waste cleaning alliance formed by several nonprofit organizations, including SOW, the Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation (KOEF) and the Taiwan Environmental Information Center.
我國由荒野保護協會、黑潮海洋文教基金會、台灣環境資訊協會等數個非營利組織組成本地海洋廢棄物清理聯盟。 Different from general coastal cleanup activities, ICC is associated with a beach waste monitoring program operated by the U.S.-based Ocean Conservancy.
國際淨灘日行動不同於一般的海岸清理活動，而是與美國的海洋保護組織相關的海灘廢棄物監測計劃。
Volunteers are asked to record the category and volume of trash they collect on beaches for researchers to work out solutions that will change the behavior contributing to marine trash, according to the KOEF.
根據黑潮海洋文教基金會，主辦單位要求義工記錄他們在海灘收集的垃圾類別和數量，供研究人員制定出解決方案，改變造成海洋垃圾的行為。
