海灘廢棄物長期監測是什麼？
當我們來到海邊時都會有一個共同的感受，就是好多好多的垃圾，但是到底是什麼垃圾？又是從哪裡來？有什麼方法可以解決？大家有否想過？
海灘廢棄物長期監測簡單的說就是持續的去海邊撿垃圾，只是我們多了一個動作，將這些垃圾依使用來源做分類統計，經由長期的紀錄，就可以發現一些問題，並尋求解決的方法。
我們想要知道垃圾從哪裡來？是海上來的？還是陸地上來的？是怎樣的行為產生的？如果找到來源，那是否可以制訂更好的辦法以解決問題？讓後段處理容易？如果後段處理做不好，那是否回到源頭去限制使用？或不要用？再不行就更改材質，換成會自然分解的材料。

Marine Debris Monitoring
What comes to our mind when visiting local beach is the huge amount of marine debris.  What is marine debris?  Where’s it from?  What are the solutions to deal with it? 
Marine debris monitoring simply means the continual cleanup at the beach and we collect data from the liter picked up.  By the long term monitoring, we discover the sources of the problem and seek solutions.
We want to know where the debris is from.  Is it from the sea or land?  How’s it produced?  If we figure out the source, is it possible to make better policy to solve the problem?  How do we make liter management easier and better?  Could it be possible to limit the uses at the very first beginning?  Or change the materials to biodegradable ones.
